Snaps came to us after a traumatic injury—she had gotten stuck in a deep, high-walled tub that didn’t drain properly and injured herself while desperately trying to escape. In the process, she tore ligaments in her back left knee. Despite undergoing two surgeries, her leg couldn’t be fully repaired. Snaps is a sweet and cuddly cat on her terms, but she can become overstimulated quickly and may react unpredictably with a swat or snap. She’s now living comfortably in her forever foster home, where she’s safe, understood, and loved just as she is.
