Sai (12 weeks old as of 7/26/2025) is a female black short haired kitten. Sai was born to a pregnant feral cat in Deerfield that was caught by her foster family while they were trying to catch their lost cat. Thankfully, their kitty was soon found, and this mama cat had her kittens safely in their home, where they could be raised as spoiled house pets. Sai has absolutely loved people from a very young age and has become an escape artist in her efforts to get to people as fast as possible. She wants to be in your lap or better yet up on your shoulder, obnoxiously sharing her purrs with anyone who will listen. When she's not bugging people she plays well with other cats and would probably do best with the company of at least one other kitten or young cat she can play with. She seems to really like kids and although she hasn't lived with a dog yet we think given her dog-like personality that with a slow introduction she could befriend a cat-experienced dog.
