Patches (about 3 and a half months old as of 7/12/2025) is a female black and white shorthaired kitten. Patches was born to a feral mama kitty who liked the makeshift shelter her new Zion caretakers made her so much that she soon blessed it with 5 kittens! Thankfully the caretaker was able to bring the family inside so Patches has been raised as a pampered housecat. Compared to her rough and tumble brothers Patches is a more delicate, cautious girl. She can be a little nervous in new settings and was bred to be a little survivor out on the streets, since she's safe inside she just needs a loving family that will be gentle with her and reassure her that she's okay! Patches gets along well with other cats and would do best adopted with one of her brothers (Rascal, Cosmo, or Dollop) or with another kitten or younger cat that can be a playmate for her. She hasn't grown up around dogs and might be too sensitive for all but the calmest cat experienced dogs. She seems to connect well with a lot of older kids that want to baby her when they hear she is a sensitive girl but she wouldn't be our first choice for a family with rowdy toddlers.
