I'm ready for my new family!

Orphan Annie

I'm Available

Orphan Annie (Brown tabby and white, female, born June 2024) was found dragging herself up a sidewalk along a busy street when a good Samaritan picked her up and brought her into care.

When taken to the vet, it was discovered that she had a broken pelvis at just three months old! This likely happened from being grazed by a car. Annie was then placed in care, where she was held for a month to allow her pelvis to heal properly—and it has healed beautifully.

Unfortunately, she sustained enough damage to cause circulation issues at the end of her tail, resulting in half of it being amputated.

Annie loves other cats, snuggling on her foster’s chest and lap, and is an overall happy, loving kitten. She enjoys playing with small toys and occasionally runs on a giant cat wheel several times a day (but only for a couple of minutes at a time). She also loves climbing to high places.

We suspect she may have a nasal polyp, though this hasn’t been confirmed by a vet at the time of posting. She often sounds like she has an upper respiratory infection, but she acts and looks just fine.

Annie can be a bit of a grump at adoption events, but she would love to have a loving family with older children and other cats.
