Freddy (about 9 months old as of 6/7/2025) is a neutered male black and white shorthaired kitten. He and his sister Olive were trapped as part of a feral colony TNR project at about 2 months old, a bit later than ideal for taming but with winter temperatures moving in and them still being so little their foster took them in to work with them. Given that opportunity, they have made great progress, and while still shy with strangers they are happy living as housecats and are affectionate and playful with people they trust. Freddy is a big sweetie who loves to be held, purrs up a storm, and loves a nice warm lap to curl up on. That is, once he wears out all his kitten energy and takes a break from zooming everywhere getting into everything. Since they've only known life together and love each other so much we'd like to see them adopted as a pair, either alone or as annoying little brother and sister to existing kitties. They have great enthusiasm for the adult cats in their foster home, though those adult cats aren't sure yet if they require kitten assistance! They've never lived with dogs and being shy they wouldn't be great candidates to be placed with any but the calmest of dogs, and because they need time and space to build up trust they'd do better with older, more mature children that can be patient as they get comfortable.,
