Echo came to us as a 3-month-old kitten in July 2019, the shyest of her litter. In 2021, she was diagnosed with stomatitis, a painful condition that made her already fearful nature even harder to manage. When standard treatments failed, her foster paid for full dental extractions to give her the best chance at comfort and health. After two years of managing the disease, Echo is finally gaining weight and living a peaceful, happy life. She’s far too timid and well-settled to face the stress of a new home—which could risk a painful flare-up—so she’ll remain safe and cared for as a forever foster.
