Hooper was spotted in a neighborhood with a severe wound on his back, which we believe is either a burn or the result of an attack of some kind. He was missing most of the skin and fur covering his entire back. His neighborhood came to his rescue, trapped him and got him to a vet. They raised the funds he needed to survive and thrive. He did well in Foster for over a year while he endured weekly trips to the vet for bandage changes and staples.
He started out feral and scared, but now he is a relatively confident guy who loves to talk and eat. He loves attention once he gets to know you. You wouldn’t believe the transformation he went through to get where he is now! Hooper deserves the best future he can possibly have after all the pain and suffering he went through! He is now ready for that future to begin.
