How You Can Help

Here are some ways you can help Spay and Stay fulfill its mission of humanely controlling the growth of the feral cat population in Lake County.

VOLUNTEER

Spay and Stay is successful because so many people volunteer their time to help us carry out our mission. There are many ways you can help, no matter what your background. Here are just a few examples:

Assist at high-volume spay days

Man an informational booth at a community fair

Help other caretakers in your neighborhood trap and transport cats to spay day

Assist in educational outreach to schools and other community groups

Participate in the organization of fundraising events

Manage a trap depot

Help hand out door hangers about the work we do to targeted areas of high feral and stray cat populations

DONATE

Our goal is to ensure that every single cat born on the streets of our communities has a chance at a better life through sterilization and humane care. You can be a vital part of this goal by donating to support the work of Spay and Stay.

We are the first and only Trap-Neuter-Return organization in the county and, to date, have received no funds from any governmental agency to carry out our animal population control work.

We are funded solely through:

private grants,
donations from the caretakers of feral and stray cat colonies, and
and the generous support of corporate and private donors like you.

We would be honored to work with you and your financial advisor to explore ways to include Spay and Stay in your charitable giving plans.
